Lewis Hamilton opens a new bank
- Published on Jan 11th, 2010 by Adam MilleneuveWe're not even two weeks into 2010 and it seems that the PR machine that is Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren team have already sprung into action by officially opening the first UK branch of Santander, here in London this morning. Santander have owned Abbey for quite some time, but now this branch is officially Santander, with the rest of the Abbey branches soon to follow suit.

Hang on, didn't Ferrari take on Santander Sponsership? or is this the last of the McLaren promotions with them?
Amazingly Santander are sponsoring Ferrari and McLaren in 2010... and they say there's a recession on.. hmm..
Was Hamilton really at the branch opening? It looks like the two blokes in suits are holding a cardboard cut-out!
Yeah they have Hamilton cut outs in all of the Abbey/Santander branches - that doesn't look real to me!!
The bloke on the right looks suspiciously flat as well.
Yes, the wide angle lens on the camera has stretched the bloke on the right's broad shoulders and head rather a lot! It seems that red ties were all the rage down there.
