Keep the remote handy - Malaysian GP TV times

- Published on Mar 30th, 2010 by Adam Milleneuve

It's another fairly early start for European F1 fans this weekend, with the season continuing at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia.  As ever, here's Badger's essential guide to what's on the box and when:

The main events (all times BST):

  • Saturday - Qualifying from 8am - 10.30am (session begins at 9am)
  • Sunday - The Grand Prix from 8am - 11.10am (race begins at 9am)

And we're advising you to keep the remote handy because with Sunday being Easter there's a bit of channel hopping involved.  The race will be on BBC1 like normal from 8am until 10am, but from 9.55am until 11.10am it's over on BBC2 to make way for Easter malarkey. Qualifying is uninterrupted on BBC1.  Both sessions will also be online, on the radio and the 'red button'

If you're an F1 Fanatic, then you'll probably be wanting to watch the practice sessions too.  As usual, there's 3 of them and there are online and via the 'red button' with no preamble, just the action.

  • Friday - Practice 1 - 3am - 4.30am
  • Friday - Practice 2 - 7am - 8.30am
  • Saturday  - Practice 3 - 6am - 7am

We're sure it's going to be corker of a race, even without the highly likely thunderstorms making an appearance.  Just hope we all get a full race, unlike last year's fiasco where we only had half of it...
