The New Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit
- Published on Mar 9th, 2010 by Adam MilleneuveWith the news that general admission tickets to race day have already sold out, you'll have to be quick to to ensure that you get yourself a ticket for the 2010 British Grand Prix. With only grandstand seats left for the Sunday, you're going to have to familiarise yourself with the new layout, featuring the additional 'arena' section. News has come through that the improvement work is near completion and it's all sounding rather positive.

Go here to buy your tickets for this year - Badger suggests you use the official circuit site, there are a couple of not so trustworthy sites out there... Have you been to the British Grand Prix before, if so what did you make of it? And let us know if you're going to the big race this year, because as ever, Badger will be there and this year in a bigger way than before...

Devo'd, not got my tickets yet. serves me right for not buying them straight away!
I think the pit straight will take place after the club corner this year.
The pit straight will be after club in 2011
In Luffield bronze a. again this year had a great weekend 2009 looks like the new track will make the entrance into our view much more exiting with the cars coming into the corner from quite a long straight, should be good. BRING IT ON !!!!!
ps , whats Badger up to at Silverstone? any clues.
Clues? Hmm, in good time....!
pit straight will be as normal for this year enigma. maybe next year they will have the new pit and paddock complex sorted down that end.
Yeah I think there are some pretty serious plans for redevelopment for the 2011 grand prix - but at least it seems Silverstone's project management is better at keeping thinks on track (pun intended) than the folk at Donington Park.
I'll be there got my general admission 3-day ticket the day that the GP was confirmed where it belongs at Silverstone. I think it's a shame they're buggering about with the circuit as it was one of the few left that still had a certain natural flow for most of the lap. Will have to reserve judgement until after the event though!
