He only turned 18 last September so he might have been considered a bit young for GP2. His GP2 Asia outings were impressive though, so perhaps he is ready. Anyway, he's doing GP3 with ART, whose success in the other formulas suggests they'll be right up front, and I imagine the plan is for him to step up to the GP2 team next season. He's a real talent and has time on his side. Valsecchi was awesome in GP2 Asia, but then Kobayashi looked pretty handy when he won it in 2008-09 and then totally flopped in the main series. I personally rate Valsecchi higher than Kobayashi, but the Asia series is a funny one. He's not really downgrading. My favorite for the title this year is got to be Bianchi, i mean look how he dominate F3 (euro, british) especially his seocnd race in abu dhabi gp2. by the way, i'm surprised about Alexander Rossi's switch from gp2 to gp3. any of you guys knows why? why is he downgrading his career?
