Spanish GP - Webber reigns supreme in Spain
- Published on May 9th, 2010 by Adam MilleneuveWebber had a stunning afternoon in Spain, coming home first from pole position. He'll be one happy Australian, because today he was untouchable, even team mate Vettel couldn't challenge him after the first few corners.
He was joined on the podium by Alonso who benefited from a pit stop mistake for Vettel and then a rather big accident for Hamilton on lap 65 when his front tyre failed. Vettel survived a possible brake problem to take the third step on the podium.
The return of the king is definitely in the post with Schumacher finishing 4th after defending from Jenson Button after the pit stops.
We'll have a full report and opinion later today, but for now here's the finishing times.

I'm in shock! It didn't rain and it wasn't boring!
Unfortunately (for my Fantasy GP predictions!) it was Lewis Hamilton who got the fastest lap in the end...
Thanks, corrected!
It wasn't as boring as Bahrain, but this wasn't exactly a great race either.
It was kinda like going to the Dentist for a root canal and being told you only need a filling - we were expecting a very dull race and we got a race that wasn't terribly exciting instead.
Me correcting you on the fastest lap means that I lost 10 points on the Fantasy GP and my brother gained 10. Now he's miles ahead. Serves me right for being a pendant!
Excellent analogy!

Oh dear. Clearly not enough of a pedant.
