Speedy: Photos from Goodwood
- Published on Jul 4th, 2010 by Adam MilleneuveThe Goodwood festival of speed was a superb event this year with thousands of motorsport fans and celebrity making their way to the Chichester circuit for displays and racing of all cars old and new. Alfa Romeo are also celebrating their centenary and as a result there was what has to be one of the most impressive car parks on the planet in the grounds of the impressive Goodwood house.
If you went this year, let us know your story and your favourite bits in the comments below, for now though here's some photos from Badger's point and shoot....

Glad you focussed on the weird, i consider myself a semi-spotter and a couple of the cars are new to my eyes. Not least that cutsey white Ferrari which you're standing next to. What is it? And how did it earn 'pose-with' status?
Interesting to see that Marcello Gandini's Countach design wasn't a totally new idea when he penned it in 1971!
Which Red Bull was Adrian driving? The mutant-child, or a proper one?
Supposedly a proper RB5 from 2009, but as ever it's probably at least a little bit mutated.
Indeed, the wierd-er cars deserve photographing! The white Ferrari just looked gorgeous, these older models are superb, I forget which one it was though.
As for the Countach comment - I completely agree - I too didn't realise that there were other such designs around at the time. have to say the Countach beats all of these though!
Driver spotting: The bloke with the longish hair in the 23rd image (goodwood-026) is former F1 driver Stefan Johansson. He drove for many teams but had his best success at Ferrari and McLaren, and also happens to be Swedish (take note Dave H, - a Scandinavian driver!).
Cheers Richard, afraid I didn't know who he was, but followed the crowds of people bearing down on the gent - he looks like an aging rocker (good thing) - thanks for enlightening us!
