If you didn't hear over the busy GP weekend, Jenson Button was ambushed after qualifying in Brazil while being driven away from Interlagos is a bullet proof Mercedes.  Reports claim that is was down to the quick reactions of the police-trained driver who got the 2009 champ away from the armed chaps - read the full report here (Daily Mail)

Pits - End of the season

Yes, it may be an exciting grand prix and the 50,000 capacity (is that all?!) Yas Marina circuit may be sold out, but after Sunday there's a massive near four month wait until we get some more on track grand prix action, boo!  Keep your finger on the pulse with Badger though, we'll be bringing you all the test session information, comment and fun that we can, to fuel your passion for the sport we all love..

Podium - Lotus' 2011 Livery

It will be answer the dreams of many Lotus fans across the world - yes, the team are planning to run a black and gold livery in 2011, a la the famous John Player Special sponsored livery from the days when Senna was in a Lotus - great stuff, and not only that, but they are letting the fans submit designs via their website too and if you're the chosen one, you could be off to winter testing - not bad at all!  Details will be on the Lotus website soon.

Podium - Marussia Motors

Chances are you haven't heard of them before, but you will have now and the good news is that they are investing in Virgin Racing - the most fan-centric of all the teams in F1 right now.  The team will be known as Marussia Virgin Racing in 2011 and hopefully this additional investment will see the 2nd best new team progress even quicker.  Read more here: Virgin Bag New Investment

An American has taken every young lad's Scalextric dreams one step further by designing and creating his own slot-car setup which is the most impressive POP has ever seen, complete with working pit lane, lights, bridges, astonishing scenery and well - have a look for yourself below and read the full story on Yahoo here.

Apparantley he has up to 30 friends round for race nights and even does Abu Dhabi style racing where when it gets dark, the track lighting comes on - really is that impressive...
