TV Times: When's the Brazilian GP on Telly?

- Published on Nov 2nd, 2010 by Adam Milleneuve

Everyone agrees that 2010 has for sure been an epic season so far and now we're presented with the two final races with still five, yes five drivers in the running to be 2010 World Champion.  Alonso is sitting prettiest at the top, but drivers have lost the title, even with a greater points lead at this point so it's not all plain-sailing for the Spaniard.  Red Bull are quick around Interlargos - the Brazilian GP circuit, but McLaren are also looking forward to it and this weekend is pretty much do-or-die for the British 2009 World Champion Jenson Button.

If your favourite driver isn't one of these top five gunning for the title, not to worry because the Brazilian GP is traditionally nothing but a truly thrilling grand prix - the track is quick, twisty has massive fluctuations in gradient and has been the playground that has decided more than it's fair share of championship showdowns - it's sure to be corker!

So when's it on the telly box - at the perfect time, late afternoon on a Sunday, so you've got most of the day to mow the lawn, read the papers, take the kids out, clean the car, sweep the kitchen, re-tile the bathroom [insert your stereotypical Sunday activity here] before sitting down to a grand prix before a late Sunday roast, perfik!

Main Events:

(on BBC1, web, Radio 5 Live and the red button)

  • Saturday - Qualifying: 4pm (coverage to begin at 3pm on telly)
  • Sunday - Grand Prix: 4pm (coverage to begin at 3pm on telly)

Of course, if you fancy doing something different from your normal Sunday activities and then watching the race from your sofa, you should come along to Badger's Big Brazilian GP Bash and watch the race live in London with loads of other fans, complete with competitions with loads of merchandise up for grabs - for more info and to sign up see here: Brazilian GP Bash
