Force India

- Published on Dec 6th, 2010 by The Badger

After three ownership changes in as many years the once-giant-killing Jordan team finally found stability in late 2007 when Indian billionaire Vijay Mallya took up the reigns of the Silverstone-based squad. The team has been on an upward curve since, with Giancarlo Fisichella taking a stunning pole and runner-up spot at the 2009 Belgian Grand Prix and long-time driver Adrian Sutil becoming a regular points scorer in 2010. Now established as a solid mid-grid team, Force India's next - and biggest - challenge will be to get amongst F1's front-runners over the coming years.

For 2011 they've added Scottish hotshoe Paul di Resta to the line-up, the F1 rookie coming fresh from a title-winning DTM campaign. With Williams refugee Nico Hulkenberg taking up the reserve driver role Force India have one of the most exciting up-and-coming driver line-ups in F1
