New Home! - Welcome to BadgerGP.com

- Published on Jan 30th, 2011 by Adam Milleneuve

Badger GP LogoWelcome folks to the all new Badger GP website.  After two years in residence at F1Badger.com, following our name change, we're now settling in here at BadgerGP.com.

As you will notice, the design has been updated has changed considerably.  British Racing Green is the new red and the navigation of the site has also been redeveloped.  When you land at the homepage, all the latest articles are now visible right there, in front of you in order of date published.  You should find the navigation a lot simpler and usable now and hopefully you'll agree it's prettier and a lot less cluttered than before.

Progress

  • All articles have been moved over (2009 and 2008 archives are currently being cleaned up) and you should find all your favourite regular columns here, just as before.
  • Signing in is currently disabled, while we update and fine tune the registration process.  Commenting is open to all though.

Still to come

  • The 2011 Fantasy Grand Prix World Championship is currently being updated and will be available soon
  • We also have a new forum, which will be opening very soon.
  • An all new 'Badger Blog' where you can get to know the people behind Badger and learn more about what's going on inside 'the Sett' (Badger's HQ)

GPedia

  • This is the name of a whole new part of Badger, where - as you may have figured - you'll find an entire encyclopedia of Grand Prix, written and maintained by Badger, featuring all stats, drivers, teams, tracks, races and more.
  • This will be phased in over time, and eventually we'll be going back as far as 1950.  For now though, we're busy polishing off the 2011 season data, which will be available very soon - look out for updates on this!

For now though, we hope you enjoy the new site and well, use the comments below to let us know what you think!

Love the new look, much nicer than before. One thing however is that there is a small issue with the snippets of the articles on the front page, it contains the html for the pictures. Looks dodgy :)

Cheers Gareth, we're aware and working on that, the recent articles on the homepage should be fine without dodgy-ness :)
