The New Lotus Renault GP Car Revealed
by Adam Milleneuve on Jan 31st, 2011Here's the second of the Lotus cars for 2011, just revealed in Valencia before testing commences. We've already seen the livery being a tribute to the classic John Player Special livery from the original Lotus' heyday, but now we get to see it on the new car too - yay! They are the third team to launch today after Team Lotus and Sauber.
Robert Kubica will be hoping that this motor can help cement his status as one of F1's elite (and Badger's Top Dog of 2010) and challenge for victories in 2011 - let's face it, he was threatening to do so last year. Team mate Petrov has vowed to keep the black and gold Lotus Renault out of the barriers more this season and try and keep the car, along with his career, on track.
So here it is folks - the new Lotus Renault...

That's f***ing hot. LOVE IT. Just a shame the red is quite dominant on the nose and rear wing, but otherwise phwoar.
