For some reason, a number of news outlets this week felt it necessary to float the notion that Kimi Raikkonen was set to replace Robert Kubica at Renault following the Pole's rally accident last Sunday. It was a pretty far-fetched notion (and one that's now been officially ruled out) considering Kimi's renewed commitment to the WRC, in which he is currently contesting the season-opening Rally Sweden.
