Win the F1 Rumours App!
by Adam Milleneuve on Feb 24th, 2011We're going competition mad here in the Sett this year. Already we've given away tickets to the Marussia Virgin launch, a signed McLaren cap, four Mercedes GP caps and the FantasyGP racing experience to our 2010 champion. There's plenty more in the pipeline too...
Right now though, we're offering five lucky readers the chance to get the latest F1 news on their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad via the rather brilliant "F1 Rumours" app.
The app works on all iOS Apple devices, and is a great way to get all the news around F1 in your pocket, on demand! It features push notification support too, so you can have your device alert you of breaking news. We've been busy testing it here in the Sett and have quickly fallen for it. It looks especially great on the iPad (mind you, what doesn't!)
The best thing about the app is that unlike other similar ideas, it's not simply crawling loads of RSS feeds and automatically posting links - it's in fact managed by humans, so you won't get duplication of stories and instead only the best, high quality news and features. It also looks pretty, is pretty rapid and pretty darn easy to use. All stories are opened within the app itself and all web pages render well, including BadgerGP.com!
It's available from the iTunes App store right now at the bargain price of only 59p, but here at Badger we're offering five readers the chance to get the app for nothing - completely free - now that's not bad at all is it!?
How to win!
As regular readers already know, we like to keep things simple here at BadgerGP so to enter all you need to do is submit a witty entry to this question:
If I were to have an Grand Prix themed dinner party my five guests would be...
...and of course explain why you've chosen who you've chosen! The five cleverest, funniest or simply best entries will each win a voucher to get the F1 Rumours app on their iOS device for free, now that's not bad at all is it!
COMPETITION NOW CLOSED
You can buy the app (for a very reasonable 59p here: iTunes App store)

Comments and Discussion
If I were to have an Grand Prix themed dinner party my five guests are
1 Max Molesley - would help it go with a swing
2 Lewis Hamilton - he might bring his pussy cat
3 David Coulthard - so I could borrow his Superman costume
4 Vitaly Petrov for the Vodka
5 Mark Webber for the Red Bull
1: Yamamoto - He'd take care of all the costs
2: Massa - he'd let me eat first
3: Barrichello - he'd let me eat first
4: Trulli - the wine
5: Chandhok - would be great to talk with such a knowledgable f1 fan
extra: Badger - well, you need something to eat...
First two guests: Damon Hill and Murray Walker. With stuffed crust pizzas for the main course, an advert may be in order...
Next up, Karun Chandhok, in the hope his lovely mum, Chitra, sends him laden with samosas...
Then to make sure we have a dessert, Jérôme "Custard" D'Ambrosio...
And finally, Kimi Räikkönen, as he knows how to party!
Great call with Raikkonen!
I would invite,
Rubens Barrichello
Michael Schumacher
Fernando Alonso
Mark Webber
Sebastian Vettel
And then I would start a good old food fight!
Kimi Raikkonen - Favourite driver and also looks like he could challege me in a few drinking games
Ayrton Senna - Can't not invite Senna
Graham Hill - Partay boi!
Fangio - Has a interesting story on how he got into F1
Alain Prost - For the Senna Prost Banter!
