…imagine a Grand Prix restaurant – where people could go to enjoy Formula One – both past and present and actually meet other fans in real life, breaking the technological barriers of Twitter and Facebook.  It could be great, but there’s two very important questions that need answering if such a crazy (but brilliant) idea was to ever happen – namely:

  • What would the restaurant be called?
  • What would be on the menu?

The first question is easy peasy – thanks to the new rookie on the block at Force India – the Scotsman, Paul Di Resta.  It’d would work perfectly if his backing and name could be used to start up the place – why?  Well beacause it could be called…

…and as for the food, well, thanks to everyone who follows BadgerGP on Twitter and is a fan on Facebook, we can present to you now, the full, extensive menu of Grand Prix grub that should be available at Paul Di Restaurant…

    I made Katy an F1 meal for her birthday last year based on themes.

    Pasta Toro Rosso to start (Beef/Bull in Tomato sauce)

    Lewis Hamilton Fish and Chips was the main (British with a Caribbean twist. Jerked fish and peppers instead of peas)

    Vettel apple strudel for desert (Well it’s German…)

    For some Aussie flavour how about Webber BBQ steak. (Aussies at leat will get the Webber BBQ reference). Or how about the Charles Picnic option…

    Jean-Éric Vergnison is a must, deer steak wrapped in Italian beef
    Jos Versta-penne – cylindrical pasta in a fiery hot sauce
    Intermediterranean Chicken – only served when its a bit wet, but not chucking it down
    Burnt Maylander Chicken – can only be ordered with a special board, and must come before any other dish
    KERSpatcho soup – a cold soup, but can only be eaten for about 7 seconds during each course

    Does the Carmen overture get played at the end of every meal? And Giorgio Moroder’s Ivory Tower is a MUST for the “waiting to be seated area”. Followed by THAT guitar riff when you’re about to be seated, natch
