by Jack Lamure on Apr 20th, 2011Having ended FP1 in Malaysia towards the bottom of the timesheets Davide Valsecchi enjoyed his return to GP2 machinery yesterday, topping the times at the series' final pre-season test at the Circuit de Catalunya.
The Italian finished the day fastest for Team Air Asia, the new GP2 outfit laucnhed this season by Lotus boss Tony Fernandes, beating Luca Filippi - the most experienced driver in the series' history - to top spot. Pre-season title favourites Jules Bianchi (ART) and Romain Grosjean (DAMS) ended the day third and fifth quickest respectively, with Romanian racer Michael Herck sandwiched between the two Frenchmen. Intrepid petrol fume chasers Octane Photos were at the test, and have provided Badger with yet another great selection of images from Formula One's premier feeder series. Enjoy!
