Ever seen a Wind Tunnel in Action? Now's Your Chance with Sauber!

by The Badger on May 13th, 2011

On the 22nd May, Sauber are opening the doors to their wind tunnel in Hinwil, Switzerland, and you could go along and witness first-hand a wind tunnel in action, being used by an F1 team for developing their car.

Of course, those of you who have the F1 calendar in their head will realise that the 22nd May is also the date of the Spanish GP, so with that in mind, as part of the package you'll be able to watch the race projected onto a massive screen, along with a live phone connection to the race track.  With a lunch buffet that they claim to be delicious included too, it sounds like a great experience.

It's not free, but if you ask us, it's too good to be free - tickets are limited and available at CHF 190 per person (around £130) - not too bad at all for what will be a completely new and exciting way to watch your favourite sport!

To get yourself a ticket, just register with Sauber's new online community ay http://sauberF1team.com and go to the 'events' section.  Easy peasy.  If you're going, let us know how you got on in the comments below or even better, write to us.
