
No Turkey!? The 2012 F1 Calendar

The FIA has today issued the 2012 F1 Calendar for us all to see. Check it out below, most notable is the absence of the Turkish GP (no more turn 8, sigh) and of course the addition of Austin, Texas as the penultimate round before the climax in Brazil. It's good to see that Australia will again be the season opener and that it's quickly followed a week later by Malaysia. There are in fact 6 back to back races in 2012 - bonkers!
Sadly, Valencia still has a spot on the calendar for the European GP, but aside from that it's looking good for 2012 already!

Bur Bahrain IS back and in it's early season slot again.... I'd say there is scope for change yet....
nightmare place to get in & out of, won't be missed
It's not a nightmare at all if you know istanbul so speak for your self because many f1 fans will miss it me included.
It's Hockenheim in 2012 isn't it?
