WIN! The F1 2011 Game This Weekend

by Adam Milleneuve on Sep 23rd, 2011

With the launch of our Friday Caption Contest, our prize giveaway weekend is underway and we're sure many of you will be interested in winning a copy of the recently released, and rather brilliant F1 2011 game.  We have an XBOX and a PS3 version up for grabs and to make it more exciting you can enter as many times as you like!

Enter via Twitter - we love it, it's simply the best way to keep a track of all the things going on in the bonkers world of F1 and enables you to chat to your friends and discuss the racing, what's more - for this weekend you could also win a copy of F1 2011.

All you need to do is tweet about qualifying/practice on Saturday or about the race on Sunday and use the hashtag #winF1game and mention @BadgerGP.  So for example, if you are watching the qualifying you could tweet "Wow, stunning lap by Bruno Senna @BadgerGP #winF1game" and you've not only tweeted about F1, you've also entered yourself in with a chance of winning the F1 2011 game!   Make sure you're following BadgerGP on Twitter so we can message you if you're the lucky winner!  Oh and keep the tweets interesting!

Enter via Facebook - we like Facebook too, despite them messing around with it more than Hamilton messes with his facial hair - if you're not already, you should become a fan of BadgerGP on Facebook

By liking our page you can then comment on (and like) our post about qualifying - if you do, you're not only sharing your thoughts with other fans, you're also giving yourself the chance to win a copy of F1 2011.  Come Sunday, you can do the same about the grand prix too.  We'll clearly mark which article you'll need to 'Like' and comment on!  As with the Twitter entries, keep your comments interesting and fun or just good.

The competitions will run during the coverage, so:
Saturday -  Qualifying: 2pm - 4.30pm (won by R Wolters, Edinburgh - PS3 version claimed)
Sunday - Grand Prix: 12.10pm - 3.30pm - XBOX version to play for!

Make sure you tweet via Twitter or comment via Facebook during these times and you'll be in with a chance of grabbing a copy of the F1 2011 game.  The winner on Saturday will be notified via Twitter/Facebook by 5pm and then whichever of the two versions is left will be the prize during the GP on Sunday.

 Best of luck folks!

In the meantime, read Badger's review of the F1 2011 game here.

UPDATE:

Rik Wolters of Edinburgh has won the PS3 version during qualifying on Saturday - the XBOX version will be up for grabs during the race on Sunday - best of luck folks!

What do I think? I think excluding people who don't tweet, or use facebook because of its lack of security, is counterproductive to your websites aims. I'm not going to donate the £10,000, I was going to give you now!

You have also excluded people on the other side of the world, where the timezones make it difficult to enter!
