Podium or Pits is Badger's weekly guide to what's hot and what's not in F1. Stay tuned for Lego, posters and Tamara. Not all in the same story.

Lego loves F1 - After last week's revelation that Jimmy von Weeks enjoys scouring eBay for Indy Car micromachines, he's back with another doozy. This time POP doesn't have any confirmed info on whether Jimmy's heart has been stolen by Lego, but he did send us a link to an article about F1 cars built out of lego.

Is it wrong that POP thinks they're beautiful?

Which team is Jenson in? - POP doesn't really know what all the fuss is about with this Twilight malarkey. Robert Pattinson seems grumpy and Kristen Stewart has all the on-screen charisma of a wet sponge.

None of this has, it seems, diminished Jenson Button's love of the saga. Or, at least, his ability to convince a Sun journalist of his love for the saga. One or the other.

Yep, that's a picture of Theo Walcott. What of it?

Oh, we like this - here at Badger we like fun. We also like F1. When something arrives on our doorstep that ticks both of those boxes we run around like small children, shouting wildly and waving our arms.

Russell Ford has put together a series of F1 posters based on famous films. As you might be able to tell, we like. But do you?

You might even be able to buy them in the new year. Exciting.

Honestly, she's like crack - yes, that's right fellow POPites. It's the return of Tamara Ecclestone.

Interviewed in the Metro this week, she gave us the benefit of her experience of the economic situation.

We're sure she does raise some money for good causes - see her annual fund-raising dinner in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity for example.

However, according to the Metro, her next next charity project will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro when she is ‘in shape’. Far be it from POP to impugn her motives, but that sounds like a cracking experience by anyone's standards. Who knew charity was also so much fun.

Petrov's palaver - Well, well, well. What's all this then?

In the often anodyne world of F1 media interviews, Vitaly Petrov has decided to shake things up rather.

In an interview with the Rossiya 2 channel in his homeland, he's launched quite a broadside at the Renault team, saying things like, “Read my interviews, I never criticize the team, which lost so much on pit-stops and tactics...We’ve lost ten or more races because of this. Even without having a fast car, we still could’ve earned good points if we only had a good strategy.”

Is something rotten in the state of Renault?

I think petrov may have just been told he needs to look else where for a drive or get more money don't know but it doesn't sound all peachy.

Since you guys wont put lego and tamara together i guess i will have to.
