F1 is back on our screens this weekend for the Indian Grand Prix, a track described by Fernando Alonso as being very quick, so that makes a change then.  It’s only the second year of the Indian GP, so let’s hope the 2012 race is as good as last years, we don’t need another Korean GP, especially with this weekend’s action also being a tad early in the morning.

Speaking of times, here’s the full run down of the F1 TV schedule of what’s on when this weekend – unfortunately, you’ll need Sky to catch the action live, but on the upside the BBC highlights programmes are on at more sociable hours!

Thursday October 25th:
10:30am: Drivers’ Press Conference – Live!
7:30pm: Britain’s Next F1 Star

Friday October 26th:
5:15am: Practice One
9:15am: Practice Two
11:30am: Team Principals’ Press Conference
12:30pm: Inside Track – A weekend with Marussia
1:30pm: The F1 Show

Saturday October 27th:
6:15am: Practice Three
8:30am: Indian GP Qualifying (session starts at 9.30am)

Sunday October 28th:
8am: The 2012 Indian Grand Prix (race start at 9.30am)

BBC Coverage: For those without the Sky F1 channel, all the action will be repeated on BBC 1 and BBC 1 HD – qualifying at 1pm and the grand prix at 2pm – far more sociable hours!
