Jenson Button embarks on his 4th season with the team, and will be looking to better his win tally last season of three, in Melbourne, Spa and Sao Paolo. The Brit will also have the “red five” number this season, conjuring up images of the glory years of Nigel Mansell.
Sergio Perez joins the team after an impressive 2012 campaign that saw the Mexican bag an impressive 3 podiums, including two 2nd places in Malaysia and Italy.
While McLaren have been contenders in recent seasons, it’s been a barren stretch of 14 seasons without taking the Constuctor’s championship.
