The sun is shining brightly today at Circuit de Catalunya and after a chilly start, the drivers have been enjoying warmer, more suitable temperatures for testing, especially for learning more about the new rapidly degrading Pirelli tyres.

Lewis Hamilton took to the track today and immediately looked quick whilst getting plenty of laps under his belt with some trouble-free running and brakes that actually work. A welcome change after Jerez.
Raikkonen has had limited running in the morning, only clocking up 4 laps (compared to Lewis’ 37) by midday. This wasn’t due to Kimi wanting more pop tarts, but because they were changing the gearbox.
