Meet the Badgers

Badger GP is a team effort and we like to called ourselves 'Team Badger GP' - sounds a bit like an F1 team and well, that can only be a good thing.  Anyhow, here are the wonderful people that make the magic happen and keep Badger going strong...

Adam Mills
aka Adam Milleneuve, Editor in Chief
Born in Scotland moved to Birmingham, Leeds and now resides in London.  His favourite biscuit is the Chocolate Hobnob, closely followed by a fig roll.  A big fan of the ‘a cup of tea solves everything’ mentality and a big fan of all things formula one.  He doesn’t drive a car but enjoys zooming (relatively) around London on Italian scooters.  Ciao.

Craig Norman
aka Craig Normansell, Deputy Editor
Hailing from Hertfordshire, had he been born a little later he would've been named after a certain moustached British hero. Unfortunately that fell to his brother..er..Nigel. He is pretty much addicted to all things both sporting and televised (or preferably both), and thinks driving a Fiat is technically driving a Ferrari, hence why he owns one. Nice!

Jack Lamure
AKA DeShawn Valiant; AKA Miguel Sánchez; AKA Dr. Nguyen Van Falk: Deputy Editor

It is a regular source of surprise that Peckham-based hipster/idiot Jack Lamure has any interest in motor sport. And yet his love of single-seater racing is as pure as his knowledge is complete: no one else could reel off the specific achievements of the European F3 Open grid in so much detail, nor with such bitter resentment for the crucial combination of luck and financial superiority that brought them there. A failed racing driver himself, and an even bigger letdown as a professional writer, he remains a fully paid-up Badger staffer - and bloody glad of the work. Drink?

Ben James
aka Benson Jammichello, Writer, Columnist, Hot Rod, King of POP
originally from a Sussex seaside town near Brighton (with a cracking pier and lido, if you’re interested), he’s lived in London since traveling up there to go to university. He thinks he is best summed up by a message written by his sister in his Christmas card. With a picture of a moose on the front, she’d written: “Benj, I would never mistake you for a moose. An idiot, yes; a moose, no.” Charming.

Geoff Collins
aka Geoff Collins, Writer, columinst, Man of great insight

Grant Rudgley
aka Grant Ruetemann, copy-editor and contributor
Enjoys thinking for long periods about matters deemed unimportant by capitalists and/or painfully trendy south-of-the-river types. Has lived in London for what feels like too long, despite it only being 3 years; thinks that this might be because he misses flinging his baby-blue 87' Ford Escort through the hedgerows of his native Norfolk. Is very open to a wide variety of cheeses, except types that resemble the legs of the elderly.

Chris Kirk
Chris Kirkaka Chris Kikkinen, Writer, Technical Specialist
From Dover in Kent now living in Portsmouth, Chris is a fan of ‘barn door’ engineering and wants to know how everything works. He loves talking about the technical side of F1 while moaning how the teams change things far too quickly for him to be able to keep up. He once met his F1 childhood hero Damon Hill and was so star struck he asked for an autograph “for old times’ sake.” Awkward.

Tessa Jones
aka Tess Tarossa, Writer
originally a Sussex country bumpkin, now a Londoner up to her eyes in law literature who loves her Rover called Gordon – a proper old man’s car that barely passes his MOT.  She’s such a massive F1 fan that she called her goldfish Johnny Herbert.  Bless.

Richard Mosley
aka Riccardo Monza, Writer, Illustrator, Encyclopedic
our resident (self proclaimed) F1 anorak. He draws pictures when not writing and quite often finds himself in Japan. He’s met many a F1 driver and knows more about the ‘good old days’ than any f1 encyclopedia could tell you.  Clever.
