Canada is partly a street circuit, thanks to the closeness of the barriers to the actual track. This can catch some drivers out, especially at the last chicane, when in 1999 no less than three World Champions were caught out in the race – four if you included reigning FIA GT champ Ricardo Zonda (tenuous link, we know!).

From that day on, the wall recieved the nickname “The Wall of Champions”.
