Following on from the excitement of the Spanish Grand Prix, the upcoming race in Monaco promises to be a good one, and what more glamorous way to experience the principality than with a visit to the world famous Amber Lounge over the weekend.
This year sees the tenth anniversary of their Friday evening charity Fashion Show, with many of the F1 grid taking part against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea at Le Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel. Drivers including Daniil Kvyat, Daniel Ricciardo, Nico Hulkenberg, Felipe Nasr, Marcus Ericsson, Jolyon Palmer, Esteban Gutierrez, Rio Haryanto, and Pascal Wehrlein will be swapping their race suits for outfits from British menswear label Apsley Tailors.
The U*NITE show will be headlined by singer Jasmine Thompson, who came into the spotlight for her collaboration with DJ Robin Schulz on “Sun Goes Down”, followed by number one “Ain’t Nobody” with DJ Felix Jaehn.
The Amber Lounge charity fashion show was established in 2006 under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, and has raised more than €4 million since its founding for charitable organisations worldwide. This year, they will be supporting the Amber Foundation on the recommendation of Eddie Jordan, helping disadvantaged children who have suffered abuse, misused drugs/alcohol, or are homeless.
