For the 2015 Monaco Grand Prix, Badger GP entertained 100 fans at the Monaco GP Bash, right here in London where, despite the rather dull race, a great time was had by all. Being trackside is said to be the best way to experience the atmosphere of a GP, but the ‘Bash gave that theory a good run for all it’s Monaco money as we packed out London’s Walkabout for a day of Grand Prix fun.
With not one, but two projectors showing the race, complimented by live timing and twitter feeds, not a moment of the race was missed and with that many people in a room, the atmosphere was awesome. Sure it may not have been a thriller on track, but it more than made up for that with controversy, drama and some excellent performances from the 2015 crop of rookies.
What really made it good fun though, was the addition of sharing the experience with like minded fans, the Badger GP Bingo, Grand Prix Pub Quiz and of course the Big Prize raffle too.
A massive thank you to all those who came along and made it a special day and a huge thank you to those wonderful folk who supported the event, including Infiniti Red Bull Racing, Graham & Leigh Race Tracks, Paul Oz the explosive artist, Memento Exclusives and the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) – you made a lot of F1 fans very happy indeed.
Here are some photos from the day and if you’re interested in coming to one of our future GP Bashes, make sure you follow us on Twitter @BadgerGP, on Facebook and you can subscribe to our Badger Newsletter too.
