The second day of testing in Barcelona saw Lewis Hamilton complete an epic 121 laps, some of which he spent pseudo-battling with Vettel. Hulkenberg, Perez and Ricciardo all posted very quick times, although the Toro Rosso had issues yet again with the car coming to a halt at the exit of the pit lane.
Ferrari are still either sand-bagging or just not very confident about their 2012 car whereas there seems to be an air buoyancy around the Williams team – sure we can’t expect podiums, but Senna seemed happy yesterday and their test driver Bottas was similarly upbeat today, so maybe come Melbourne, Frank will have something to smile about.
