After what feels like a very long three weeks, F1 is back in action over in China this weekend. The Chinese GP can often be a cracker of a race, especially with the ever–present threat of unpredictable weather. Remind yourself of some of the best Chinese GPs here.

It’s also the first race of 2012 where both the BBC and Sky will be broadcasting all the sessions and the race itself live. So here’s your mini guide to the TV schedules for the weekend – set your alarms! (note, all the session times for the entire 2012 season are available here too)

Qualifying – Saturday 7am

  • BBC Coverage 6am – 8.30am BBC One (repeated at 1pm – 2.15pm BBC Two)
  • Sky F1 Coverage 6am – 8.45am (repeated regularly throughout the day)

Grand Prix – Sunday 8am Race Start

  • BBC Coverage 7am – 10.15am BBC One (repeated 2.50pm – 4.50pm BBC One)
  • Sky F1 Coverage 6.30am – 11.30am (repeated throughout the day)
