When I look at why I got really interested in F1, instead of just watching the races on TV if I was around, I blame Johnnie Walker whisky. Not because I had a revelation whilst sipping a dram, more because I used to work for them and got to go to a testing session the year they started sponsoring McLaren, way back in 2005. Since then, they’ve grown the sponsorship and produce a lot of great behind the scenes video, as part of their Step Inside progamme. The latest one, launched today, takes its cue from the 2009 video with Robert Carlye.
