Lewis Hamilton has been toppled. Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo went top of the BBC Top Gear “Star In A Reasonably Priced Car” on Sunday with a scintillating lap of 1.42.2 – a full 0.7s faster than the 2014 World Champion managed a two years ago.

Ricciardo also managed to come across not like an F1 driver, but more like a down-to-earth Australian, which we all know he is. One of the highlights was Q&A session with the surrounding audience;
“What does the back of Lewis’ car look like?”
