While the rest of the motorsport press seem more preoccupied with lambasting Pirelli tyres – we’re not, in case you haven’t noticed – we’ve had a look through the performances of the driver’s during Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix and pointed out the best, and the worst.

No surprises who’s in here. Fernando Alonso stole the show to take another home win to send the 95,000 strong crowd home in ecstasy, while there were bad and terrible races for the Mercedes pair. Pastor Maldonado completes the list, because we love nostalgia, which is an odd way to view something that only happened a year ago.
