With the first of the four F1 winter testing sessions now complete, we’ve seen most of the new cars for 2012 and the drivers and teams have begun development work to ensure their new cars are as ready and fast as possible come Melbourne in March. It’s tricky to make much of the time sheets from testing because we have no idea what fuel loads, setup or what the team were setting out to do at that session – it’s not all about being the quickest over a single lap, well not at least until qualifying for Aussie GP.
That said, you can peruse the times from each of the four days here on Badger as well as photo galleries of the cars in action on track. Just bear in mind that Barrichello posted some very quick times in his Williams a year ago and we all no too well how his year went. See all four days here.
To summarise the activity in Jerez, here’s a collection of images from all of the four days and a time sheet combining all the fastest times from each driver and team.
