Wet: Barcelona Today – credit: Octane Photos

Formula 1 pre-season testing was underway again today in Barcelona with all the teams heading out in undesirable cold and wet conditions around Circuit de Catalunya.  As a result, expect plenty more chatter about the graining and rapidly degrading 2013 Pirelli tyres later from the press calls.  Yawn.

With the poor conditions, much of the today’s focus was on Sky and their 3D coverage of the test, with pretty much everyone getting to spend some time in their (dry and warm) commentary box to share their opinions on the forthcoming season.

In other, actual F1 news, Max Chilton was out again for Marussia while Razia still waits for his cheque to clear.  Force India managed to finally confirm a teammate for Paul Di Resta – in the form of Adrian Sutil.

We’ll be bringing you more opinion on the all important final test over the weekend, but for now you can enjoy some photographs from the running today and why not case an eye over our look into the technical developments we’ve spotted up and down the grid too.
