Formula One of many generations was on show in Birmingham last weekend. We’ve already covered the 2012 exhibition – well, the cars the teams tried to pass off as 2012 models – but some of the real joy was seeing chassis from yester-year in all their glory.

The main focus of this year was display of cars from throughout the career of British racing legend Jackie Stewart. Not only were two of his World Title winning Tyrrells were there, but also his first race winning machine, the BRM P261, and the first F1 car from his team, the Stewart Ford SF1.
