Many UK based F1 fans have been wondering what happened and where is Georgie Thompson on the Sky F1 coverage.  Evidently, she’s no longer part of Sky’s coverage, but we’ve just had a message into the Badger GP inbox from the folks behind ‘Sure’ to let us know the whereabouts of the ever popular Ms Thompson.

She may not be involved in F1 coverage anymore, but here she is with the Lotus F1 car because she’s now the face of ‘Rexona’ or as it’s commonly known here in the UK, ‘Sure’ – the company behind the deodorants.

A new F1 deodorant?

When reading the details and learning about Georgie fronting Sure’s involvement the with the, we began to wonder if there would be a new product too and guess what – there is – the Lotus special edition of Suremen.  Wow.  It claims to give you protection for 48hrs, even if you’re driving at 200mph.  So that’s how Kimi will be keeping cool in 2013 then!

We are as yet unable to confirm if the new Suremen limited edition will come in the black and gold team colours or not.  Certainly hope so.
