Formula One isn’t boring – that’s the Badger’s slogan and today we were served up a right feast of Turkish delight with a stellar grand prix giving us close racing and a proper fight for victory – classic F1.

Hamilton didn’t look too chuffed on the podium, most likely because he was gifted the win when Vettel and Webber came together when Sebastian took an opportunity to pass Mark, and he would have made it past, if only he hadn’t over-estimated where he was in relation to his team mate – he came across to cover the racing line, but in the process came together with Webber and spun out while (rather miraculously) Webber continued and soldiered home to take the final step on the podium.

Red Bull won’t be happy with their drivers coming together – team boss Christian Horner said that “everyone’s a loser” in this situation… true, except Mark Webber now leads the championship with Vettel lying 5th, so he’s done pretty well out of it.

In comparison, Button and Hamilton had a great fight for the lead with the two of them hustling each other, after which, Lewis had the lead covered to take McLaren home for their first 1-2 of the season.

Overall the Turkish Grand Prix was a breath of fresh air with plenty of argy-bargy and jostling for position – just what we needed.

There is of course loads more to talk about, check back later for full reaction and thoughts, for now, let us know your thoughts on the race and if you’re playing Fantasy GP, you can now logon to see how you got on in the Jackpot grand prix of Turkey.
