Now that all the cars have been launched, with the season about to kick off down-under in less than three weeks, it’s time to look out for the new merchandise on offer from the teams in 2011.
Mercedes GP are still looking to improve their car, but they’ve already got their merchandise sorted, thanks to clothing partner, Henri Lloyd and from what we’ve seen so far it’s looking good. The 2011 caps have been updated and now reflect the car’s livery more than before, complete with the Petronas ‘turquoise flash.’

Mercedes GP Petronas and Henri Lloyd are pleased to announce to our fans that you can now order the 2011 Team and Driver caps from the Henri Lloyd website!
This will be the third season that the team has worked with Henri Lloyd on the team kit and merchandise range. Henri Lloyd’s Commercial Director Graham Allen comments on the relationship: “We work extremely closely with the Mercedes GP Petronas marketing team to develop a merchandise range that reflects the team’s values. At certain times of the development programme, we feel as if we are an extension of them”.
The 2011 Official Merchandise Range, released on 14th March, “will be an evolution from last year,” says Bastien Hibon, the team’s marketing director. “We have kept the best assets of the 2010 merchandise but have added some extra features… and many more!”
Caroline Moulin, Partner Services Director at the team gives an exclusive insight into this year’s range: “We will have the replica range, the driver replica range and the lifestyle range. We will have more accessories, more kids items… look out for the teddy bear which is one of my favourite items!”
