Screen Shot 2015-05-18 at 19.18.30Formula 1 cars are expensive and let’s face it – as cool as it may sound, having an actual F1 car isn’t particularly practical for your family runaround or the weekly supermarket trip.

So instead, why not get yourself a piece of an F1 car? Yep, that may sound a bit odd, but thanks to Sahara Force India and Memento Exclusives, you can do just that.  What’s more these pieces of raced Formula 1 car are made into things that are actually useful as well as pretty damn cool and well, pretty exclusive too.

At a Sunny Silverstone, the Sahara Force India drivers took time out from training to model parts of their Formula One cars, which have been given a whole new career. These remodelled car parts make up a unique collection by Memento Exclusives. Each Sahara Force India car contains approximately 80,000 components, which are tested to their absolute limits at every race. Many parts will only run one race and so the Sahara Force India team and Memento Exclusives have developed a collection which gives fans the opportunity to own a piece of the team’s heritage.

That all sounds very well, but what exactly can you get? Checo it out:

There’s a radiator belt – yep, radiators used from an Sahara Force India car, melted down into belt buckles, classy. You can have an awesome coffee table made from an actual raced wheel rim, and possible the coolest chairs ever, made from engine covers – these really are exclusive! There are lamps, clocks and more too, you can browse the whole collection online.
