Ahead of this weekend’s European (read that as the 2nd Spanish) GP the Lotus team were busy doing a shakedown of their 2010 F1 car with Heikki and Jarno at the wheel around the Snetterton race circuit in Norfolk. Ahead of their 500th grand prix, this wasn’t just your standard pre-grand prix ‘shakedown’ though, oh no, on Sunday there was a whole Lotus festival with every grand prix car they’ve ever built on display and on track.
It was an impressive display and once in a lifetime chance to see so many classic ‘British Ferraris’ doing what they do best. Thanks to our friends at Octane Photographic, here’s some shots from the day out in Norfolk – if you look closely, you’ll spot Johnny Herbert, Mike Gascoyne and none other than Elliot Moss (yes, that one!)
