Pirelli marketing has to have one of the hardest jobs in F1. They deliberately have to provide tyres that don’t last and that degrade at different levels for all the F1 teams, but then have to sell tyres to me and you, and we want tyres that last longer than 10 laps!
However, they seem to do a brilliant job, especially as the average watcher will hear the name Pirelli many times during a F1 race.
As part of that job, Pirelli have released the above video, introducing you to the road tyres via the world of the lonely F1 tyre (of the soft variety) who wanders around the Geneva Motor Show looking for his perfect partner.
It’s a lovely video, even if stalking after people you see in magazines is not always advisable in real life…
