If you’re anything like us here at Badger GP, you’ll know that waiting for Formula One to return from the winter break in the New Year can be tough. Well, not as tough as giving up smoking or trying to stick to a diet, but tough nonetheless.

To combat the lack of F1 in everyone’s life, we’re asking a simple question – wouldn’t it be good to watch a classic Grand Prix from start to finish, with fans tweeting about it at the same time? That’s what we did back in August, and that’s exactly what we’re doing again for the next THREE Thursdays!

Starting this Thursday, January 8th, at 8pm GMT, we will be watching three classic races, and the first is the sport’s return to Austria way back in 1997!

All you’ll need to do is click play on the relevant link below, at exactly 8pm GMT, to join in! Throughout the whole race, we’ll be using the @BadgerGP Twitter account as well as Twitter site twubs to collate them all together. As the race unfolds we will be live tweeting, from first lap to last, using the hashtag #RetroGP.

Just follow the steps below to take part;

– Click on “Play” with everyone else using this YouTube link – 1997 Austrian Grand Prix – or watch from playing the hosted video below.
