I’ve always admired those photos from yesteryear with F1 cars thrashing about, on the limit with sparks flying around, it looked cool and that’s a fact. The return of sparks for 2015 caused a mixed reaction – yet another decision to improve the show without fixing the fundamental issues facing F1, yes it was.
Before Bahrain you could have been forgiven for forgetting about the ‘new’ sparks but my of my did the twilight timing of the desert race turn things around? Yes, sparks are back and they look GOOD.
Here’s a few snaps from the Bahrain GP, all with SPARKS.
Maldonado had a few sparks, the only good thing from his Sunday
The Williams is the most beautiful car on the grid, sparks take it to next level.
two cars = DOUBLE sparks. Unlike double points, this is a good thing. SPARKY SPARKS.
Red Bull had some sparks too.
…and some blurry sparks for good measure.
I’m sure you’ll agree, the SPARKS added something a bit more magical to the spectacle. I cannot wait to see what happens in Singapore – is there such a thing as too many sparks? No. More SPARKS please. Thank you, Badger x.
