Marketing Weekly, although not a regularly read magazine in the Sett does have some interesting bits and pieces in it and this week they’ve run a piece on the most valuable and strongest brands on the planet.
Although the headline and main focus is the ongoing slugging match between Apple and Samsung with their respective shiny devices battling for market share, it’s the final table of stats that is of interest.
It looks at the ‘strength’ of various brands has put Ferrari up there in the No.1 spot, ahead of Google and Coca Cola. Red Bull doesn’t even get a look in at the top 5.
We found this interesting – yes of course the prancing horse is big business and internationally recognised, but it’s the strongest brand in the world? Blimey.
