It’s barely been a week and already we’ve got another Grand Prix to prepare for!

The tyres played their part in an exciting race in Melbourne like the world knew they would. It’s probably best to note that the teams don’t know what these race tyres go like in the bone dry in race conditions (it rained slightly in Melbourne at 75% race distance) so it’s still a massive unknown for everyone.

Without further ado, the two tyre compounds available for the teams in Sepang are…

Compound – Medium
Colour – White

These are the second hardest compound in the Pirelli range, and are making their first appearance this season.  It’s a continuation of last season’s race that the Italian manufacturer has brought it’s two hardest compounds to cope with the abrasive Malaysian tarmac.

Compound – Hard< Colour - Orange

The debut for the now orange coloured hardest compund in the Pirelli range. Last season’s silver didn’t go down to well with fans, TV coverage and teams alike, so a brighter variant was decided upon.
