The dark nights are drawing in, the temperature’s dropping and summer is officially over.  It’s not all bad though and here to cheer you up is Caterham…

  • Love motorsport and F1 in particular?
  • Like the idea of a free event at Silverstone?
  • Free this weekend?

I’d hazard a guess that you’re probably nodding in agreement to those questions and if so you’ll definitely be interested to know about Caterham’s motorsport event at Silverstone this weekend, here are the brief details:

Caterham Motorsport’s final race meeting of the season, at Silverstone on October 19/20, will be free for all spectators.

As well as showcasing the famous British sportscar maker’s full gamut of thrilling, one-make race championships, the BRSCC-run event will also offer a rare chance to see the Caterham F1 Team car in action on track in the UK.

Caterham F1 Team Reserve driver, Alexander Rossi, will complete laps of the British Grand Prix circuit in the F1 racer at lunchtime on both days.

That sounds like a bit of alright doesn’t it!?  Free motorsport at Silverstone – amazing!  You can get the full information here on the Caterham cars website and the timetable is below too.

Who else is going?

Free motorsport is brilliant, but free motorsport with friends is even better – join the UK F1 Fans Meetup Group and say you’re going and invite your friends too.  You could even organise lift-sharing or what have you.

What’s on when?

The full provisional timetable is below and for more information see the BRSCC website here.
