Thanks to report from Sport Bild, the rumour mill is churning that Timo Glock will leave Marussia by mutual consent on the eve of the 2013 season.
Although the paddock was under the assumption that both had an agreement for this season, the German website has quoted the former Jordan and Toyota driver as wanting “to make myself new challenges and continue my journey in motorsports”.
The report also goes on to link Glock with the BMW DTM squad, which begins testing at Valencia on Tuesday.

The Russian backed squad has already announced British youngster Max Chilton will be driving for them, replacing the Caterham-bound Charles Pic.
If it’s an issue of money leading to this split, then expect the other vacant seat to be filled by a driver with a large backing, along the lines of Bruno Senna, Vitaly Petrov, or even Kamui Kobayashi.
Sport Bild seem to have got their information from a press release due for tomorrow (Monday 21st January).
