The PR machines really are in overdrive ahead of the British Grand Prix. We’ve had Felipe Massa visit a petrol station and Paul Di Resta visiting Asda being the highlights so far, but the BBC team have topped the charts with their effort featuring David Coulthard and Lewis Hamilton recreating Top Gun, Red Arrows style.
The Red Arrows?
The aerial display on Sunday ahead of the race is a British GP tradition, but it’s not just Red Arrows pilots in these planes…
“DC: We happened to see a MiG 28 do a 4g negative dive.”
David and Lewis appear to be enjoying their training
“…and then they said flying a plane is trickier than driving in F1”
Coulthard looks a tad worried
“I Feel the need, the need for speed”
Welcome to “TOP GUN”
(Red Arrows style)
“Permission to do a fly by…”
David spots Lewis completing a not so secret tyre test
Make sure you tune into the BBC F1 coverage this weekend for the full feature!
