Our friends over at Mobil 1 The Grid sat down to talk to Jenson Button and his race engineer, Tom Stallard ahead of this weekend’s racing in Monza, to find out just what the Italian Grand Prix means to them.

JB tells us about the great atmosphere that the Tifosi bring to what he describes as one of the greats to still have on the calendar. He clearly enjoys driving at the high speed, low downforce 5.793km circuit, steeped in history, as we reach the last European race of the Formula 1 season.

Jenson’s race engineer Tom Stallard talks us through the 7 corner complexes on the circuit, and describes how components that have been on the car all season creating downforce are stripped off once the team arrive here, ensuring that the car can achieve the maximum top speed.

If you don’t already, make sure you give the guys over at @Mobil1TheGrid a follow on twitter, for more great content!
